This group is open to anyone who would welcome opportunities to broaden their view of spirituality and foster deeper understanding of a wide variety of spiritual traditions. At each meeting we look at 'one' topic and explore it as far as we can through the major religions, non-religious worldview, other faith and spiritual traditions. Or, we may explore the major tenets of one particular religion for one or two meetings. We take it in turns to explore the tenets of particular system of beliefs at each meeting.

The goal is to create an inclusive environment where different faith and spiritual perspectives can be explored constructively, with mutual respect and genuine curiosity about each other's beliefs.

INN Review of the Year

How will members participate

a) One or a few members will prepare a presentation leading to a discussion that looks at the specific topic area, of interest to them. The specific topic will be agreed at the meeting prior.

b) The topic and a brief summary will be shared one week in advance by the presenters. Where possible, members research the specific topic area before meetings and have an opportunity to share with the group what they have found during the discussion.

c) If you want to have the opportunity to facilitate a topic in line with your own interest or knowledge area for a specific meetingĀ  just let Peter know. It should be on a first come, first served basis.

d) Have openness to discovery.

e) We try to abide by the Interfaith Network guidelines on interfaith dialogue: https://www.interfaith.org.uk/resources/building-good-relations-with-people-of-different-faiths-and-beliefs

Sessions run on 4th Tuesday of each month from 1430 to 1600. First term September (5th Tuesday) to November. Second term January to March/April depending upon Eid/Easter. Third April to June; summer off. Then review and decide where we go next.
