Group Leaders may be particularly interested in the fact that a number of meetings rooms have been made available to the community, free of charge. This offer comes from the Melton Mowbray Building Society. The rooms are in their headquarters building on Leicester Road, near B&Q. I have it on good authority that the IT infrastructure appears to surpass, that available at Tesco's, the other free venue, and most of the meeting rooms that you have to pay for. We have added the information to the framework of the u3a website, but the detail may be hard to find, until a group actually starts using them as meeting venue.

Current information also includes a fourth room, with the maximum capacity raised to 20, by combining 2 rooms. The facility is clearly more suitable for smaller groups, like language groups.
