Writing for Pleasure 

This group is for people who enjoy writing and or would like to begin writing both poetry and prose.  The group is supportive and focused on helping each other to enjoy and develop writing. A monthly writing project designed to give a wide brief for the imagination is set by the leader and a mid-monthly support session is held in a local coffee shop. Future outings include book readings and support from local authors. Group members are encouraged and supported to enter U3a writing and poetry competitions. No special equipment is required.
