Each month we have a chosen theme and members bring their own selection to read. The topics are wide ranging, from everyday subjects to more abstract themes. The poems cover a huge variety, from serious to humorous, but are usually thought provoking. The emphasis is on pleasure; we do not adopt an academic or analytical approach but bring our own interpretations and thoughts to share. These can often lead to a discussion as interesting as the poems.
