We are a small group who have been learning Italian from the basics. We started out using a BBC course, that stays close to the spoken language and makes extensive use of recordings, from CDs. We are now reinforcing what was learned in the first course, with a more traditional intensive course, with more grammar explanation. We combine this with simple short stories for Italian learners.

If you feel you have outgrown the Learners’ group, you may wish to join the Italian Conversation group.

If you are interested in joining us, we have scope for expansion. However, you would need a command of the basics, to keep pace, as we have been learning for a couple of years, already.

If enough of the Learners graduate to the Conversation group, we may be able to start a new Beginners' group.
