Are you interested in helping to connect individuals, rebuild social bonds and make people feel better? We are on a mission to recruit people to our Steering Group with skills in one or more of these areas:

• marketing,
• website and social media management,
• fundraising, and
• partnership working.

Our voluntary organisation, Leicestershire Shared Reading, needs new Steering Group members who act as our support team, carrying out a host of behind-the-scenes tasks that enable our team of Reader Leaders to run their groups, both in county libraries and on Zoom. Currently, we are delivering the joys of shared reading to between 50 and 60 people every week – and we’d like to reach more people.
