u3a matters
u3a matters is the magazine for the u3a movement, published five times a year and packed with member stories, activities, interviews, travel, technology, recipes, competitions and more. A screen reader-friendly version is also available for every issue.
Events
Monthly Meetings
Our monthly meetings are a great opportunity to come together, hear from an interesting guest speaker and catch up with fellow members. Visitors are very welcome too, so if you’re curious about u3a, why not come along and see what we’re all about?
Meetings are held at Melton Mowbray Baptist Church on the third Thursday of each month. Doors open at 9:30am, giving you time to sign in, get settled and take care of any u3a business before the talk begins at 10:00am.
Guest Speakers
Most months feature a guest speaker, with a couple of special exceptions: our Christmas Social and the Meet the Groups Fair in January.

Refreshments are served after the meeting, giving everyone the chance to relax, chat and find out more about what’s happening across our u3a.
